My screen randomly goes black.

Asrock x600 deskmini
8700g
Corsair 1x16gb ram 4800MT/s DDR5
Teamgroup 1tb nvme ssd gen 4x4

I have the latest bios.
The drivers downloaded automatic from asrock.

Does this happen while you are using the system? Or, when entering sleep/hibernation?

What is the CPU/GPU operating temperature it idle and under load?

What video connection type are you using (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc)?

Ryzen Master is good for AMD systems.

Try a different HDMI cable or switch to DP.

It does not mess up in linux so far, i think it is a windows issue

Go to the link I sent and get the latest drivers directly from AMD. Those are often a version newer than those offered by the OEMs. That could very well solve the issue.

Idle is good. Loaded is high. Does this config use the AMD OEM CPU cooler (Wraith)?

I put tm30 corsair grease on it, it is a Dynatron U8 Low Profile Heat Pipe Intel LGA1700/1200/115X AMD AM5/AM4 CPU Cooler, I can put a amd Wraith stealth cooler on it my house temp is 78f

Definitely replace the low profile unit. Then try everything again.

Understood. The Stealth is slightly taller than that, it seems. Are you trying to overclock anything (CPU, GPU, memory)?

no, no overclocking, I am using the stealth wraith cooler without the top part, you can take part of it off and it will fit, it is tight, but it fits

I assume you were using the cooler that came with the barebone's parts. If so, I wouldn't use that with anything.

Any difference in performance?

Understood. Is the system stable now? Or still blanking out?

getting green screen of death, underclocking the cpu and gpu fixes it, underclocked cpu by 1000MHz and the gpu by 1000MHz

Really sounds like you have a heat issue in the cramped confines of that rig. Can it operate with the case cover removed? If so, will that allow the system to run at stock speeds? Asking just to confirm the hypothesis.

so far no lockups with a big honking air cooler on it, lol, gonna try 3dmark and see if it finishes

it ran 3dmark demo fine, how do i know if it is a bad cpu vs a heat issue?

If it is running now, with proper cooling, then you know the answer (not the CPU).
