8gb ram with 4gb ram

Can I combine 8gb ram 1600MHz with 4gb ram 1333MHz.Can it lose some performance or not in gaming as compare to 2*4gb ram with 1600MHz. Can my PC become slow with this pair of ram...

They will both run at the lowest common speed (1333MHz) if they run together at all. So yes, 2x4GB 1600MHz would likely be better than 8+4GB 1333Mhz for 1.) speed and 2.) compatibility in dual-channel.

The different RAM modules have a chance of not working at all together.
