Hello, does the 9600gt uses atlot of electricity ? or put it this way if i play game 4 hours a day for a month will i see a signficant increase on my bill.

It uses less than turning on 2 old school light bulbs (100W) so no, not really.

Electricity is charged in kilowatt hours (1000 watts for one hour ~or 3600000 joules) and costs around 15-20 cents per unit.

So 4 hours a day x 30 days = 120 hours at 0.2 Kilowatts = 24 Kwh (electrical units)

so if they cost around 20 cents monthly cost added to your bill is about $4.80 if you do it every single day.

That is probably a slight overestimate but should give you a ballpark figure. You probably spend more on washing and drying your clothes or cooking meals (unless you use a microwave for them all).
