Hello everyone!

I'm currently rocking a 7800X3D, but after I saw the reviews of the 9950X3D I would like to get that one instead.

I've read a lot of issues in regards with the ASRock motherboards and the 9950X3D. Is that only for the 800 variant of ASRock motherboards or the 600 version as well?

Thank you very much for your time!
Every answer will be much appreciated!

Per this article;
https://videocardz.com/newz/asrock-...bios-for-a620-b650-b850-and-x870-motherboards
your board doesn't show up though your board does have the BIOS version 3.20 listed in the motherboard support site;
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B650 Pro RS/index.asp#BIOS

I would flash the BIOS for your motherboard, clear the CMOS and then drop the processor onto the board. You have warranty to claim in case things go South but the down time might be painful,. Another thing you could do is change the motherboard to something that isn't made by ASRock.

Thank you very much for your answer!

Do you have any recommendations for which one I should go for instead?

Flash latest BIOS 3.20 BEFORE installing CPU, there were reports of certain 9900/9950x3D processors burning up because of high default voltages. This one was designed to fix that problem.
That's exactly why I made this post, thank you for your response!

So the update should clear those problems now?
