Lately I've been downloading lots of custom objects and hacks. I can't
play without these, really. But, I think that perhaps some of them may
be responsible of the problems I'm having, since I never had them
before with a "clean" game. I wondered if someone else had experienced
them and maybe had a solution.
The most annoying to me is that I can't invite more than 2 guests at a
party, while before with the cheat I could do whatever I wished. Now
the cheat just won't work anymore.
Then, some of the recolored objects, that at first showed correctly in
the game, show up with a different color scheme. If I try to buy a
different one, whatever it is, it just changes into the same color
scheme. It happened with a double bed. I have installed
that..hmm..color fix suggested in mod2, but nothing changed.
Then, a couple of married Sims, that love each other, kiss etc, won't
sleep anymore in the same bed.
And finally, in neighborood view houses are starting to appear
completely deformed! It had happened in the past that when I used
custom content for a Sim (glasses, or beard etc)- their face did not
appear in the family screen, and occasionally the house in which they
lived would show as sort of blackened in the neighborhood screen. But
now the houses look deformed, enlarged, as if the land is growing up
under them...when I enter the house to play I don't see the family
group but a bit of the house, all screwed up...
Have some of these things happened to anybody else? can they be
hack-related?
