A QUESTION ABOUT XP!!

I'm thinking of upgrading ME to XP but I want to know a few things first.
1 Internet security does XP lease info on the net example version of XP info about my PC
Or is it the same as ME?
2 When on the Microsoft update page is Microsoft able to get any info about XP and or my PC?

Yes many have installed. Nobody i know have had any problems

all you have to do is beat the activation if you do not see this screen there you are home free.
