Question A system to run 4-6 virtual machine at ones with a game being run in it and being stream out all happening at the same time.

and turn it into a desktop but still can use the resource and it as a server managing multiple virtual machine through the os.

Things i like to be inform on:

Every video I see it seem like it take a min for a server to boot than a desktop,, it seem slower. So I'm worrying about the speed of the application running on the virtual machine.

I research putting a os on a server but they only show the iDRACC way and they never show the os environment just some console showing it been install.

The only thing stopping me from buying that item in the link is the lack of material of running a simple window, unbuntu, or any os on a server.

thanks for the link and recommendation. I swing more and feel more comfortable with looking at Synology 4 bay NAS DiskStation DS418 (Diskless) for under $400 even know it don't support hot swap. You can use it as a server if I'm understanding that correctly and it seem pretty easy to set up and friendly too.

Oh man I just found out about shucking... so i could buy like five cheap exeternal drive and put them in the nas machine... but i can turn any machine into a freenas machine... the only worry is the machine it self... I'mma hold off on the nas and buy a few external drive and a cheaper workstation with multiple drives slot to have a storeage plus with one exeternal hard drive i can use it as a cold storage.

Just install Win 10, and skip the license part. It runs absolutely fine, in the Unactivated state.

Later, when your budding enterprise gets off the ground and is actually earning money...you can purchase your OS licenses.

A browsers and unity game does not take that much processor. you can have dozen of tabs open up on your computer and unity is made to even be more efficient than most browsers. So don't focus to much on that aspect. What i'm more worry about is pushing data out. I have upload speed cover i have a plan that will give me around 300 mpbs upload speed. The only thing I'm stressing about is finding a system that can handle the work load. And again we not talking about high graphic games we talking about broweres and unity games here. Would love it if someone can link a system that can handle all of this on amazon, if not amazon i'm cool with looking other places you might have a system to link to.

Question you may ask:

1. what you trying to do?
answer: run 4-6 virtual machine with a game either a browser base game or a unity game which both isn't that demanding.
2. what you looking to spend?
answer: my current budget is 600-800 hundred i can boost that up to 300 hundred if need too but if i can find a system between 600-800 hundred that would be great
3. what the spec of the software you will be running?
answer: software i will be running is obs, browsers, and unity standalone application which all doesn't take that much to run so don't worry about those spec or just guess and you'll guess right or close enough or better yet guess and a little more to over shoot and that would be good enough.

hopefully i provided all the information that i don't have to add any additional information. i gave the what, how, and for the why... cause this is what i want to do.
