Abit or Asus?

Hi'
I know that the Asus A7V can be modified to allow voltages above 1.85. Does the Abit raid board go higher or can it be modified?

1. great overclocking
2. have 2 harddisks you can use raid0(they fast)

YES, ABIT can be modified to go over 1.85.
like rcf said, RAID.

overall both are great board but ABIT is a little easier.
I say ABIT.

Apparently so. Go to the KT7 FAQ at <A HREF="http://go.to/kt7faq" target="_new">http://go.to/kt7faq</A> and click on the "Overclocking" catagory on the left. Scroll down a bit and you'll find some links on how to do this.

Abit KT7-Raid or ASUS A7V... Well you can do what I did and get both my ASUS has Duron 600 and my Abit has Thunderbird 900

i have both
A7V modified to give 2.11V, 650@900@ 2.11 @ 53C
KT7-RAID give me a max of 930-ish instead of 900 with 1.85V.

Overclockability - KT7 is better..

Can you up the voltage on the KT7 beyond 1.85v?

yes, there was a how to at www.amdzone.com. You can push 2.1 or more.
