? about 3DMark2000

I downloaded 3DMark to test my install of my GeForce2 GTS 32mb, but upon running it, it seized, 3 different times. First, it showed the helicopter scene, but no animation, system just stopped, could not exit, had to reset. Tried again, just using the demo part, just got black screen, and lockup. Anyone else have problems with this, or have an idea as to whaty my problem might be?

Hi.
This may well be a drivers issue. I had a similar thing happen and it turned out to be my soundcard driver. updating your drivers may help.

It may be a resource conflict. If you have a PCI card in the 1st PCI slot, remove it and put it elsewhere. Make sure nothing is sharing IRQ's with your Video card.

Finally, If you have a Giga-byte motherboard, forget about running anything graphics intense. sorry.
