I want it to get wireless signal from the main router and then to be able to get wired and wireless internet from the old one , I mean using it like a repeater. How do I do that ?

An Ethernet cable connection is your best choice, followed by MOCA or powerline to the router configured as an AP if you cannot run a cable.
