Accessing /Documents and settings/USER on different computer

Hi,

I've connected an NTFS HD with important files to my computer and am trying to access files which are in /Documents and settings/USER but am getting an "Access denied" error. I have the user and pass which "owns" these files but am not logged in as him, can I access the files anyway?

Right click on the folder and take Ownership of it. Then it'll work.

before you're able to see the security tab where you can select ownership i've noticed that you have to first go into folder options under the view tab and make sure that use simple file sharing is unchecked
