Accessing the network computer

Hi,

I have windows xp with sp2 on my system, If i try to access the network
system by typing \\system name my computer is searching in the web client
after that i wont be able to access the network till I restart my system
where as If I go through My Network Places and access the same system I am
able to access.

What could be the problem, Plzz tell me solution for this problem

Hi vinod

Instead of using computer name use ip address of the desired computer
eg. \\192.168.0.65

Reply me back what happenes ASAP.
