Acer Aspire 5733-6607 will not start at all. Please help.

So earlier today I was playing Medieval II:TW and the screen went black so I had no choice but to manually turn off the computer. It felt a little hot on the back also. So as soon as I tried turning it back on again, nothing. I tried taking the battery out and holding down the power button trick but nothing happened.

All it does when I try starting it, is the blue light at the front flashes 5 times, no fan starts or anything. What could of possibly happened? I have over 30 gigs of music as well as photos on the laptop. Any ideas? Am I looking at a hefty bill taking it to a repair shop? I have only had this laptop less than 4 months.

If worst come to worst what do I need to do to replace parts of this laptop myself?
