Hello, I bought this Acer Aspire desktop computer a few months ago.
I am a total noob when it comes to this stuff and I really need some help.

Anyways, I put in my own graphics card in the first slot (top) and the second slot is also occupied.
My problem is in the bottom two slots in the case. They are sealed in some sort of metal, it has no screws and looks like it is there only to prevent me from using the two bottom slots on my motherboard. The freakin' things are welded to the case.

Here are the pictures.

I've tried sliding them out, but like I said they're welded to the case at two points each at the top of the slot. You can kind of see it in the first picture. No screws or anything. At this point, it looks like I will have to bend them inwards and break them off...

I really want to install my new sound card but this is turning out to be a real pain. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry m8 for the slow response - not sure why since this is an easy one! Das_stig is right. They are those terrible twist and push metal blanks. With the PC off, try pushing a ball point pen into the case through the metal blank. You may need to be forceful. I would avoid trying with a screw driver as that can bend the backing of your case, but if your careful it shouldn't.

Ok thanks for the replies. All I wanted to know was if there was some special way of taking them off or something. I don't wanna damage the case in the process of removing them =/
