Acer aspire e360 cpu compatability

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with an upgrade to my cpu. My current system has amd athlon 64 x2 dual core 4400+ 2.3 ghz processor, and I was looking to buy an amd phenom II x4 quad core 920 am2+ 2.8ghz processor to improve my system. My DxDiag is as follows:

Unfortunately, it may not. Given the fact that you purchased this board from a system builder, its possible that they used a chipset that is only compatible with the X2s. In my opinion, the best way to upgrade is to go out and buy the motherboard.

If you open the case you might be able to see a motherboard model number. With that search for specifications online and you may be able determine if it is AM2+ or not. It could even be socket 939! I just cchecked and it has the nforce430 - 6100 which came in AM2 or 939 flavors. I dont think either version support quads.

its very unlikely that it will be compatible, unless of course acer released a BIOS update that says it supports the phenom II cpu's. i have an AM2+ board but my board manufacturer released a new BIOS that was said to be fully compatible with the AM3 cpu's. luckily, they weren't lying

the motherboard itself is a nvidia 520LE. I just figured that out lol. It says that it's got the AM2 socket, and I thought that all AM2 sockets supported AM2+ cpu's...

I guess that's the bios thing again it depends on, right? So I should perhaps buy another motherboard, eh? That will be tricky since I'm a bit novice at installing hardware, but I will do my best. Thanks for the help guys.
