Hi
My friend use his notebook for daily tasks and gaming
notebook specification are : i5 8300H

8GB DDR4

500GB hard disc paired with Intel Optane
3 day ago his HDD died so he decide to buy nvme ssd and 2.5 ssd
after replacing optane and HDD he turn on notebook and wanted install a new Windows, but in BIOS he didnt saw both ssd´s,
after some restarts later he saw only 2.5ssd
did he done something wrong by putting nvme to optane slot ?

Solution
Parse the make and model of both SSD's that your friend decided to purchase. As for your laptop, does the laptop have any BIOS updates pending? You can ask your friend to use the serial number for the laptop on Acer's support site to help bring up a support site bespoke to the laptop he's working with. You're also advised to change the settings in BIOS from Optane/RAID to AHCI or anything other than Optane.
