Question Acer Predator X34 Power Port Failing?

I purchased this monitor in 2017 and starting maybe a year or two ago it seems like either the power port in the monitor or the power supply cable is dying as when I turn the monitor on from being asleep or off it will seemingly randomly fade to black, flicker, and just stay black for long periods of time. The weird part is that usually after about an hour or so of problems and being on it will just stop fully and work 100% until the next time I turn it off or it goes to sleep.

I first thought it could be the DisplayPort cable so I replaced that but still had problems. I currently have 2 other monitors hooked up that both work perfectly so I assume it's not my GPU, I also tried a different port on the GPU and no fix. I didn't want to buy a new power supply cable before I was 100% that that's the issue but I'm worried it might be the port in the monitor. When the fading to black and full black screens happen I can sometimes either fiddle with the power cable plugged into the back to fix it temporarily or I can push it towards the monitor pretty hard and it will sometimes come back on. The weird part is that sometimes even moving the DisplayPort cable in the back of the monitor can also help. Along with the other issues it will sometimes display but with green lines running vertically across the whole monitor, not like GPU artifacts that I've seen though.

If anyone has had similar problems with their monitors and found a fix please lmk, it seems to be getting worse, and having the problems for longer and longer before going back to normal and it sucks to be mid-game and your monitor goes black or working on something and have to pause to worry about fixing the monitor every day.

Edit: The OSD also does not work when fading to black, and im currently testing with the overclocking as the monitor has a base refresh rate of 75 that can be overclocked to 100hz, I've been using it on 100 for years now with no problems but I will test for a bit with overclocking off and see.

usually it´s not the power cable itself
is the power cable thoroughly and completely plugged into the monitor and the power brick? sometimes it´s really hard to plug it in correctly.

might be a solder joint on the connections board of the monitor

maybe the cable of the power brick has a break in line

if it´s black, is the power led still on or off as well or eventually blinking?

Yeah its plugged in as well as I can, it feels like the port in the monitor is loose as when plugged in I can wiggle the whole thing in all directions, though not loose enough that the cable can be pulled out easily or that it moves around without me touching it.

If it was something inside the monitor are there places I can take it to get it fixed? It's definitely out of warranty so not sure based on the cost if it would be worth it vs. just getting a new monitor.

When the screen fades, goes full black, or has the green lines the power led stays on, the monitor does not lose connection to the pc, and the led strip under the monitor stays lit as well.
