Question Acer Predator XB271HU VS Dell S2716DGR

Hello Tom Hardwarians,

I am stuck between two monitors. Both are 144hz, 1440p and 27 inches. I am leaning more towards Dell S2716DGR (TN) because I know a place where I can get one for $300, but with that being said, is it worth it for the extra $150-$200 (sometimes more) for the IPS capabilities/quality of the XB271HU? I could eat off $150-$200 for almost a year if that tells you anything; I love savings. Would appreciate any sort of feedback, especially if you've owned/tested either of these monitors!

The battle between TN and IPS panel comes down what you prefer. If you want fastest response time and doesn't care that much about color accuracy or viewing angles (e.g you play fast-paced games); get the TN panel. But if you want to have the best color accuracy as possible (with stunning colors), get the IPS panel.
