Forget Dell and HP. They suck. All you need is a solid OS maker on board, who can market the heck out of it. Use Linux so its lean and light, and name the platform something catchy. Let any OEM that builds computers sell it and market it as well. For some reason I think Google+AMD would be able to drum something like that up.

I must admit I didn't buy MW2 and after playing it for a bit I decided it was not worth 60 dollars.
The lack of dedicated servers, low player count per map, the plethora of perks (too much of a good thing is not good) amongst other things made it not worth it in the end.
Activision has made millions of dollars off this game title and now they want even more? That's corporate greed for you.

If they want this so bad, they had total control over it. Only release the next MW title on PC. Set up your own servers, and charge for them.

I'm a dedicated PC gamer and I can tell you that will never work. Most console gamers can't use computers and wouldn't ever get the game to run, let alone an online session going. Consoles were made for people who don't have money for computers capable of playing games, and ones who don't know how to use computers. Anybody with those two traits wouldn't waste their time with MW anyway... there are much better games to be playing on PC.

[citation][nom]tokenz[/nom]Why so they can charge you 60 for a game, 15 for a map pack, and now they want to charge a subscription fee on top of it. Hey activision make a game that is fun. Like MW2 was for the first 5 minutes before everyone started cheating.[/citation]

Actually it would likely be 50 for the game, map packs on PC are usually free, PLUS do not forget Dev kits for users so we get a lot of custom content, like FPS games used to be... Depending on the perks, a monthly fee may not be bad. As long as the developers are getting paid, I am in full support of supporting them if the fee is less than 10 a month. I know we never paid for online gaming a decade ago but we didn't have nearly the kind of money going into making video games as we do now, either... Don't be surprised if subscriptions to the most popular games on the market become a reality so the devs can pay off their school loans, let's just hope that the experience is worth the fee.
