After dealing with what I thought was a GPU issue for the longest time, I've discovered that my Mushkin 2gb DDR2 800 has been the source of my video and PC instability. With just a single 2gb stick installed, my PC runs perfectly and smoothly, but when the second stick is added, my video goes nuts, drivers stop responding, and it usually results in a BSOD. Any help or insight into this issue is appreciated, and my full specs are below.

Cosmos 1000 Case
Intel E8500(Non OC)
ATI HD4870
Corsair tx750w PSU
Gigabyte x48-ds4 mobo
Mushkin 2x2gb DDR2 800 RAM

One other interesting thing about the RAM is that when I moved from 4gb to 2gb my BIOS went into Auto Recovery. With the 2gb stick that works, the auto recovery would complete, but with the bad stick the BIOS Auto Recovery would never complete and just restart my comp over and over. Huge pain, because I couldnt even reach the BIOS setup or run Memtest on the bad stick.
