[citation][nom]skittle[/nom]Funny that adobe is so upset... considering how they regularly IGNORE THE LINUX MARKET. Flash is unusable on x64 linux. It crashes firefox and chrome. And the worst part is: they know about it and dont care.[/citation]

It's quite apparent Adobe doesn't seem to care about 64 bit in general given the amount of time they've had to work on it.

Odd how none of the millions and millions of websites that use flash to deliver a low-footprint service don't need it either.
[citation][nom]summitflier[/nom]Good for Apple!![/citation]
Well it is good for apple, they can force users to buy all content now
That doesn't mean it's bad for Adobe though, millions of websites will still use flash for content and it's a very low footprint.

The only person it's bad for is the consumer. we have spent years going to websites and expecting to see what is there, by all means complain about a utility that is 1.87mb to download but now every single person who uses an iPad will not be able to see that content.

yes another reason ipad is more useful to bleed on.

just wait the tsa will ban the thing because one could break the screen and use the glass as a weapon.

That is a very confusing decision on the part of Apple considering this device as a multimedia internet browser just SCREAMS Flash. Not having Flash in the iPad is like not having a hot chick in a porsche.

I don't want to listen to music on tiny earbuds either but they are good enough and I can't lug around surround speakers w/ subwoofer to the beach.

No one is forcing Apple to use flash, no one is forcing the internet to use flash. But the fact remains that the majority of video and game content on the net is flash based.
iPad users won't be able to see it.
Why?
Apple want's to force all iPad users to buy games instead of going to Candystand to play flash games. End of story. Blatant blatant profiteering.

apple doesnt care. with the amount of iDiots using iPhones and iPads, they have market saturation and dominate the mobility world right now.
