Switch the CPU to Pentium G3258 , the mobo you have selected is able to overclock the Pentium to high clockspeeds, better then the i3.
The money saved with that you can get a GTX 750 or a R7 260x videocard, which is way more performance then the GTX650 :)

No an overclocked Pentium is NOT better than an i3 in any scenario, ESPECIALLY gaming.
 
I'm sorry, but I do not believe you. I have seen tons of benchmarks that say otherwise.

What games are you seeing better performance in? Want to post some screen shots or a video?

The Pentium has bad stutter issues in many popular games that cannot be overcome by any amount of overclocking.
