Advice on new Build Plz

Im building a new computer and would like advice and opinions on if this is good for my $ total from Newegg comes to about $1400.

*Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor

I already have a good mouse and keyboard everything else is up for debate plz let me know what you think, also dont know much about what kind of extra fans i need if any thanks.

Ditch GTX 660 TI and get HD 7950 or 7870. The price does not justify the performance.

You can do much better for 1400 dollars. HD 7970 or GTX 670, 7970 is currently the price/performance king on many sites. Get a cheaper motherboard if you are not planning on overclocking by much.

Look at 7950 B since you can get that version of Bios for free. GTX 660 TI is closer to HD 7870 than 7950. I dont even know why they recommended the 660 ti as it gets like 3 fps more than HD 7870 but costs around 50 more

Else, its a pretty solid build.

thanx for the advice on the graphics card! I wanted to get this mobo just to be safe for when i do overclock I really like Asus but if you have any other suggestions on mobos id like to hear a couple.. another question I have is would I be better off buying 2 SSDs or having one mechanical and one SSD?

The sabertooth is actually not a good board. It's the same motherboard as a lot of mid-range options, with "thermal armor" and an extra $200 thrown in there. Don't believe the marketing hype. (Also, the armor actually makes the motherboard hotter.)

Ditch the piece of trash and get a Gigabyte z77x-ud3h or an AsRock Extreme 4. Both are MORE than enough to get an i5 up to it's max on air, and are extremely reliable. (AsRock is actually a sub-company of Asus, which produces budget boards. The Extreme 4 is actually better than anything Asus produces in it's price range.)

I'd get one mechanical and one ssd - it'll have more storage space.

Also, yeah, you're way overspending on the mobo (again) and way underspending on the card. Rule of thumb is to spend twice on the CPU what you do on the GPU. Get a 670 or 7970.
