I have not bought any of the parts for this pc yet and was wondering if I could advice on this build. One of the main things that I want to know is if i could get the same performance on components for different components at lower prices.

without knowing what you use the computer for its impossible to say. but yes you could most likely save some money. 3570k unless your using the HT in the 3770k, 8GB ram cheaper mb and psu. i wouldn't buy a sound card and see if you are happy with the on-board sound first. if not then you could buy a sound card.

and if you are spending that much get a ssd!
