Question Advice on optimizing airflow/cooling on a modern PC in an old case ?

Do I need to manually adjust fan curve for my PC case fan or should I upgrade to better case?

I recently built my HTPC for gaming, hosting Plex server in my living room. I chose case form factor based on sleeper look and clearance under 7" in my living room shelf cabinet. It fits well placed in horizontal position. In summer it is usually warmer around 72-74F.
Most games I play are older and don't require much power and don't generate much heat, but I play regularly one game that push to limit (Jedi Survivor).
I get pretty good performance but I don't know how to feel about thermal performance. When playing the game, I push cpu and gpu to constant 80C (GPU 100%, CPU 20-30%) (max 82C).

Here are my specs:
Motherboard: Aorus B550M Elite
Case: Fractal Core 1100 (classic/legacy)
Case fans: 1x 92mm on the back(out), 1x 120mm on the front (in), 1x 120mm slim on the side (out) (front and side sharing same 4pin fan header)
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x (no overclocking) with BeQuiet rock slim 2 cooler tower 92mm (max clearance)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 3080 FE
SSD: NVME WD_Black 1TB in heatsink

Idle temperature readings at room of 73F (23C):
cpu: 43C, 92mm fan speed: 1358rpm
ambient: 35C
ssd: 41C
Case fan back 92mm -1218 rpm, case front fan 120mm - 776 rpm

i wrote a whole thing about a Jonsbo d31 case being a excellent case till i saw where you have put your case ..

I never want to sound rude to people but thats a silly place to put a case in the first place !!

you are always going to get overheating issues when you put it in and enclosed area like that !!

cases need airflow !! ( decent space around the case ) even mesh ones !!

my best advise is to either A. go for open case for your components and deal with the dust or B. go a smaller form factor mesh type case and sit on top of a desk or something to get better airflow around the case !!

Forgot to mention, the shelf above the the case is mesh and have no object put on top blocking the vent.

The side case fan pushes out hot air from the GPU.

So your advice would be first to flip the fan to draw cool air and just put the tower on vertical (normal) side.? Then the hot air from GPU and CPU would simply flow from the back fan and PSU mounted on the top.

with the back fan so close to the wall its always going to be a issue ..

the case is already very enclosed for a your components ..

if your intent on sticking with the case in that enclosed area ( even with the mesh shelves ) then find a all mesh case with the same dimensions to give you better air flow other wise move the case out of there entirely and stand it on the floor next to the tv unit !!

After flipping case to vertical position and flipping side panel fan to intake I got no more than 70C for both, huge difference by 10C.
