Good day,

Since I am not going to vacation this year, I have a little bit of extra money to upgrade my PC.
I'm running now on a 3570k with 16 gigs of DDR3 and a GTX 1070.
So I would like to upgrade my proc, motherboard and memory. My budget is around 550 euros or 490 pounds.

What I think I will buy is:

Intel i5 8600k
Asrock z370 PRO 4
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB

What do you guys think? Should i get another motherboard? Any advice or improvements to my list would be appreciated.

An Asrock Pro 4 is a good motherboard if you don't plan to overclock. If you will overclock, I would get a board with a better VRM.

Motherboard is very generic but if it has all you need, no reason to overspend on a fancier one. As for the parts they look like a great pairing with the GTX 1070, especially for Gaming. The 8600K + 16GB 3000 MHz DDR4 is an excellent choice, not much else to recommend unless you do a fair amount of work that would benefit from multi-threaded performance like rendering, in which case Ryzen 2 is worth a look. Hope this helps! :)

Your picks are great for a Gaming focused PC. The 8600K is a great gaming CPU, The ASRock Pro 4 is more than good enough to drive the CPU and will overclock well. As to the RAM, just get the cheapest DDR4 3000 or 3200 RAM you can get as Intel just does not have any compatiabilty issues with RAM...just plug and play.

8600K - £214 at Overclockers UK
16GB RAM 2x8GB DDR4 3000 VULCAN T-FORCE PC4-24000C16 3000MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT - £149.99 Great Price - Overclockers UK
ASROCK Z370 Pro 4 - £99.95 Overclockers or £97.99 at Scan UK

Total Circa £460
