The Linux PC that I made was working grand for months. However, I never screwed on the motherboard into place. I had kept it in the exact same spot and intended to screw it on but never did. You can imagine how stupid I feel now.
Today, when I went to print out some documents I had type, I inserted the USB cable for my printer. This was the first time inserting it into the Linux PC. The HDMI cable suddenly stopped working.
For hours I have tried everything I can think of (including screwing the motherboard into place). I disconnected and reconnected all the cables. Everything. Yet the HDMI now won't work on the Linux PC; although it works grand on my laptop I might have inserted the wrong motherboard cable but I don't think so. Which cable is for graphics output on a FM2-A55M-E33 motherboard?
I'm really stumped. Advice would be great.
Thanks.
