Question After ram upgrade black screen and beeping

So, i've had some problems with blue screens and shit recently due to my 3 year old ram, so i decided to replace it, i got myself 8gb 2x4gb ddr3 1600mhz kingston hyperx fury. upgrading from my 2x2gb ddr3 1333mhz corsair ram. Before i bought it i put it on the list with all my components and everything seemed to be compatible (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DtL6tg) thats the list. So today i got my new ram and once i put it in and took the old ram out and decided to boot it, black screen and 4 beeps, 2 beeps, pause and 2 beeps again. I tried putting back in my old ram but the same thing, 2 beeps, pause, 2 beeps. Should i have done anything before putting the ram in or whatever. Please help!

Put in your new ram just as you normally would when you do the upgrade. Then reset your bios to factory defaults and try it
