So im looking at these coolers, how well does the nzxt kraken x41 perform against the h80i/h75 because i like the nzxt most, since it has a thin rad and beautiful waterblock thingy

Erm, nope, i did my research very well, the kraken x41 beats the nh d15 with like 1C which is nothing, but its the nh d15!!!! Also, pump runs at 19 decibels on 12v, and if i replace the stock fans with noctua industrial static pressure fans, yeah they are a bit louder than the regular noctuas, but it is a bit quieter than the corsair sp fans, sooooo yeAh man,,, sure, or i just throw on a regular noctua and its as silent as an air cooler...

IT will be quieter than the sock cooler, but NOT an air cooler an could you please produce the benchmark where the x41 beats the d15?

No matter WHAT fan you use, it will NEVER be as silent as an air cooler. Sorry, that is just how it works.

Even if the x41 is the same as a D15, the price of it plus a new fan, it still $35 more than the D15 which will perform the same and be quieter.

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2014/08/07/nzxt_kraken_x41_aio_liquid_cpu_cooler_review/3#.VGZRZJ6hmUk here we see plenty of cheaper air coolers beat the x41 no problem, and then in the overclocking test is performs the SAME as the D15. SO if you change the fan you will lose 1-3c (just how it works) AND it won;t be better than the D15.

Lot of people want to. For what reasons, I can't tell. Possibly because they think water cooling has to be better and quieter, although the opposite is the case. Or for bragging rights (pretty stupid, considering the only people you could impress are those that have no clue at all).

Fact is, a kraken x41 runs about 4 times as loud as a nh-d15 while giving worse or on par performance.

Guys i totally agree, the only reason why im going with the kraken x41 is because it performs the same than the nh d15, it is louder, but i dont mind that, its just that im goin for a small mid tower build and my case doesnt support the nh d15, and it looks a but nicer, thats all, my first choice was actually the noctua nh u14s or the phanteks ph tc 12dx blue, both amazing small single tower coolers, for a great price, and air coolers are alot cooler and more silent than AIO, this is just a choice of own likes, rational no, but i hope you guys understand, also i will start a youTube channel, and in the future im going to do thing like cpu coolers comparisons and gpu comparisons and that kind of stuff,

Bottem line is, air coolers is better and quiter, but is too bulky, and doesnt look as good as a water cooler that performs the same, it all comes down to a matter of personal choice and taste (and stupidity)

True, and the reason why im going with the kraken, is because the cpu block looks damn sexy and the best of all it has dem rgb LEDs, so i can easily change that to my colour scheme, but i will buy the nh d15 in the future for performace sake, and im going to do like reviews with benchmarks and stuff

I will get an air cooler, next time, and im gonna run the gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 970 with it, but im considering waiting for the new amd card, there is rumors that amd is working on the r9 390x, it might be a game changer, and if amd cards start ising less power, ill totally go for it, depending on the price of course
