Question Alienware AW3423DWF Monitor screen tearing

So I recently purchased a Alienware AW3423DWF monitor, for some reason I'm getting a decent amount of screen tearing, even with g-sync enabled as well as v-sync. Im not sure whats causing it, i noticed my other 240hz monitor has screen tearing as well, i did a clean windows install and still had the same issue.





My build:
Motherboard: Rog strix b550 gaming-f wifi
Cpu: Ryzen 9 5900x
Ram: corsair 32gb
PSU: Superflower platinum 1000W
GPU: RTX 3070

I recently upgraded a few video cards to RTX 3070s and RTX 3080s and found that I had to use a high-speed HDMI cable. The old HDMI cable was not working for those "faster" video cards. Not sure if that's your issue but it certainly worked for me on several computers.

im using a DP cable at the moment, might give hdmi a shot
