The only thing I can add to the previous post about Alienware is that the warranty company is now a different outfit, and the RMA policy for failed devices appears to be somewhat better recently than it was earlier in the year.
But the prices are still outrageous. If you wish to purchase a serious gaming computer, pre-built ... the best deal, bar none, is Voodoo. Compare the components and prices for yourself, against companies like Falcon NorthWest and Hypersonic.

Of course, the smart thing to do is build your own, and save hundreds, (even thousands) of dollars. Take it from someone who knows the score, and learned the hard way.
