Hi,

Just recently all the menu bars in all of the applications installed on my
XP Pro SP2 machine
have started screwing up the colours. The only appications this doesn't
happen on is Office XP
and Visual Studio .NET 2003, everything else (including MS SQL Query
Analyser) has the problem.

Full description:
Usually the menu bar has a light grey background colour to it. But recently
and still at this point
in time if I click on a menu or use a keyboard shortcut the background
highlighting turns white.
If I then subsequently click a button on the applications toolbar, i.e. Save
then it resets the menus
background colour back to the correct light grey colour.

This is really bugging me now. Does anybody have an ideas about stuff I can
check or change to
resolve this.

Regards,
Peter

Pete,

Here's my two cents. If you haven't already, configure your Styles & Title
Bar appearances (right-click on Desktop > Properties > set both 'Appearance'
tab & 'Advanced' settings), then go to the 'Theme' tab & save your 'Favorite
Theme'.
Log off, log back on, right-click on Desktop > Properties > Themes tab >
click 'Browse' > locate your saved Theme, click OK.
