Question All games whitescreen upon opening the window, all uility apps (edge, chrome, steam) work fine.

Windows 11 home
MSI b650 gaming plus wifi mobo
RTX 7900 XTX GPU
Ryzen 7 7800 x3d CPU
WD Black 2tb m.2 nvme
Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 5200 mHz (2x16gb)
NZXT C1000 PSU

I've built this pc a week ago and it won't run games. They will open the window and immediately stop responding. Edge, Steam, Chrome and other utility apps run fine.

I've benchmarked the CPU and GPU. I've run memtests on the RAM. I've checked the SSD. I've flashed the BIOS, reset CMOS, done a clean re-install of Windows, none have worked.

Any advice?

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Any error codes, warnings, or even informational events being captured just before or at the times the games stop responding?

What games? Sources?

Verify that I found the correct manual.

Reference physically numbered Page 28 regarding DIMM installation.

"always insert memory modules in the DIMMA2 slot first."

Sometimes overlooked in new builds.

The physical order is important and does make a difference. However, I would expect such issues to go beyond games and affect other apps as well.

But I have no certainty about that being the case as I understand your post.
