[ALL] Please take care of sub-group flags in subjects!

This time I'm not complaining about some postings in the
[DoomRL]-section... Recently I saw that *my* people (Crawl) can do it,
too, even with decent newsreaders (like slrn), so no excuse.

Again: please set (and don't remove already existing) sub-group flags in
front of the subject. It really helps keeping this group clean and
readable, particularly when there's more traffic than now.

No discussion intended, I think everyone should know why these flags are
useful in r.g.r.m., occasional trolls or (other) accidents excluded. ;-)

Thanks and have fun,
Rubinstein

"Your people?" (Ponders on the philosphical implications...)

After I released that "Considering..." thread on the world, I realized it
lacked the Crawl tag, but I really didn't think it would be right to split up
the thread just for tagging, wouldn't you agree?

Do these filter thingummies scan the whole subject for the given keyword, or
does it have to be in a tag? If not, then (not to excuse myself, but just to
make a technical point) the thread in question should be filtered out OK by
those who, for whatever crazy reason may have crossed their minds, choose to
filter out Crawl messages. 🙂

Imagine that someone posted a thread of the title "[DoomRL] How about
crawling/kneeling?" ;-) The message must be in tags ;-). OTOH a reverse
situation is rather not possible ;-). BTW, If I do an announcement of a new
version of DoomRL, should I use the standard [Announce] tag? Eg "[announce]
DoomRL 0.9.7 (also on Linux)"?

You hear a distant hissing.
