Alpha PEP66T

I'm going to order the:
Alpha PEP66T for the KT7 Motherboard
to go with my KT7A mobo...

What else Do I need with this? is the heatsink included with this.. Should I get some thermal compound too ??..

Do not get the PEP66T heat sink with the KT7 it will not fit. THey tell you all about it here http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=1430&p=5

Yes get some artic silver II compound they should cary it the compound that the pep66t comes with if any is most likley only medium performance.

They made another one that has a smaller fan thus making lower CFM. But its made for KT7 and KT7R
so it will fit on my KT7A

Hey you can do a mod to top mount the fan such as I did use some cardboard and fine some slightly longer screws and some elmers glue. go around the heat sink with the cardboard with enough space over the top to set the fan in and be flush with the top of the fan and glue that together dont use glue that will be a B$%^^% to get off of the fan and screw the cardboard into the heat sink.

Well this one w/o the delta fan is not that loud. its a reasonable dba. and the fan is smaller since this one is made to fit the kt7 mobos
