Hi I continue my quest for the best CPU for gaming but also as important if not more video rendering!

I currently have an i3 2100 rig with a 7850, seems okay but lacks the raw power when under massive stress like rendering hd video or using blender. so it is time for an upgrade.

MY H67 MOTHERBOARD IS FAULTY!

so i am going to do a much needed upgrade.

The options are the AMD 8320 which i just have a weird feeling about making me really want it.

My other choice is an i5 2400 it is currently cheap, but only have 4 cores not so good for the future!

Please fight it out to help me choose! i sway between the cpus everyday but cant decide.

PLEASE HELP ME....................

Thanks Guys

What does the mobo mean when the ram has a solid red led on under the memok button?

Does it boot? I am starting to think you bent the pins on the 8320 or something like that. If it boots it is most likely a memory is inserted indicator.

Haha no I didn't bend any pins! 2 memory unit causes the red light to come on! All is working now though! Windows has been successfully installed!

Looks like you did not put the Memory in Opposite slots (The blue ones) or it is just normal...

Apparently putting more than one unit in on first boot confuses it some how

I see, good luck with your build, keep me posted and remember to best answer 😛
