AMD Athlon XP 3200 on a ASUS A7N8X-X motherboard drivers

Comp. specs. Athlon XP 3200+, Asus A7N8X-X mobo, 40gig WDC WD400BB-22JHAO HD, Geforce ti 4400 agp 128mb vid. card, s.b. Audigy s.c. with 2g of ram.

I have recently had to re-install my OS(Win XP pro, sp 1... as sp2 is huge & my HD is only a 40gig.), and I'm going thru the process of reinstalling drivers etc., but I'm having a prob. with the CPU drivers(finding drivers that will work optimized with Win XP pro).

I've visited M.S. update site & haven't been able to install their ref. drivers for my CPU...they won't install. I've tried to install the AMDPowernowver3.04 & 3.05 drivers for the CPU(3DNow optimized) but I keep getting the mess. "drivers not supported by OS".

Any ref. info to good sites for AMD CPU optimized (3DNow... SSE etc.)drivers would be much appreciated; as I'm in the process of an SSI disability claim and don't have the extra funds to upgrade my system etc.
