For what the OP desires there might not be any benefit in the more expensive 990FX Gigabyte mobo as the 880 will work just fine. The 970 would be less expensive, provide SLI and RAM frequency by default of 1866 Mhz. should he want a 900 series chipset mobo. Unless he wants to run SLI the 880 chipset is fine. The X4 955 is a good CPU and value IMO.

I'd recommend a Seasonic or PC Power and Cooling PSU as the Silverstone is not a good PSU.

i agree that you should go a bit more expensive on the motherboard but specifically get one with the 990fx northbridge. this will support vishera core processors which will replace bulldozer. so thats some serious futureproofing.

faster ram wont hurt. prices are so low now that its about the best time to buy. in a year it will most likely be more expensive (or so the reports say). this way in 2 or 3 years when you want to upgrade your processor you wont also be wanting better ram.

you dont need the full retail windows 7 get the 64 bit oem. its nearly $200 dollars cheaper and the only differences are that the retail gets microsoft support. but hell you have us here on tomshardware. and the retail key can be transferred to up to 5 other systems (5 other motherboards more specifically) but since you should have a 990FX motherboard for quite a while this isnt a concern. you will want windows 9 by then.

for power supply Pc Power and Cooling is the best, and heres one thats cheaper than your selected one, same wattage

since your on newegg go through the combo deals it shows when your on the products page. they are twards the bottom of the page. it says "Browse more combos" checking what is there will save you money.

If "Not too much gaming" means nothing more demanding than Facebook and other casual games, then save some money and get nothing more than HD6670. A $40 380W Antec Earthwatts is a sufficient PSU for such a build (and would be for a HD6770 as well).
You may actually be an excellent candidate for a Llano build. If not, then probably the cheapest AM3+ board I'd buy is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262 from ASRock. Gigabyte has a couple of cheaper ones, but I have a much better personal history with ASRock.

Here's an example of a bottom-dollar general purpose build:

AMD A6-3650 Llano 2.6GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU AD3650WNGXBOX
Model #:AD3650WNGXBOX
Item #:N82E16819103943
$119.99 $119.99
The 3850 is only $20 more, but is out of stock.

Rosewill R101-P-BK 120mm Fan MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Model #:R101-P-BK
Item #:N82E16811147112
$29.99 $29.99
A nice, small, quiet case.

ASRock A75M-HVS FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Model #:A75M-HVS
Item #:N82E16813157261
$74.99 -$5.00 Instant $69.99
Once again, I have a good personal history with ASRock.

XIGMATEK NRP-PC Series ACXTNRP-PC402 400W ATX12V Ver.2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Model #:ACXTNRP-PC402
Item #:N82E16817815007
$59.95 -$15.00 Instant $44.95
This or the Antec EA-380D would be my PSU choice for this very basic build.

Kingston Value 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model KVR1333D3S8N9K2/4G
Model #:KVR1333D3S8N9K2/4G
Item #:N82E16820139659
$23.99 $23.99
This machine doesn't need more than 4GB of RAM. If you get more, do it only because RAM is pretty cheap right now. I doubt you'll see a performance difference.

Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Model #:ST500DM002
Item #:N82E16822148767

Not much to say. This is a new model, but I'd buy one.

Sony Optiarc CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model AD-7261S-0B LightScribe Support - OEM

One optical drive is much like another. This one has Lightscribe.

Subtotal: $353.89
There is no GPU, but the IGP can handle light gaming. You can always add one later if needed.
