Yep, absolutely. You could possibly rock a FX CPU + 990X MB for another couple of years but, as stated before, there are no plans that AMD...

When Intel announced the Broadwell schedule slip, they said it had no impact on the Skylake schedule so in principle, that should mean Skylake is still on track for a mid-2015 launch and Broadwell-D will only be current for 6-8 months.

If someone is going to bother upgrading his temporary rig to FX8320, might as well wait for Skylake - get some more mileage on that upgraded temporary rig and get a little more bang-per-buck out of the future upgrade.
