My RIG and Temperatures are around at present,
CPU:- AMD FX - 8350 VISHERA 32nm tech 59 C
MOTHERBOARD:- GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY GA-78LMT-USB3 (SOCKET M2) 46 C
GRAPHICS :- GIGABYTE NVIDIA GTX 750 TI 38 C
STORAGE :- SEAGATE ST500DM002-1BD142 ATA DEVICE 40 C
RAM:- Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 Vengeance 4GB Single Module DDR3
PSU:- Frontech JIL-2423 600W

shutdowns when i started battlefield 3 and i didn't try any other games till now with my new graphics this was my first game and my rig is as i mentioned above

Solution
Even though it's 4+1, that motherboard generally does not have known issues with FX-8 CPUs, unless overclocked. I still say it's the PSU. Look at that +12V in HW monitor. It's freaking 9.7v. It's a miracle the PC is on at all. All that, while the CPU temperature is quite normal in that screen.

Aside from that, overheating when using Prime95 is normal on stock cooling.
Again, change the PSU. Whether it's the problem or not, you do not want to run a system on an unreliable cheap PSU for extended periods of time. It's in your own interest.
I notice two things;
- Your temperatures are slightly high if that's idle. Unless you live close to a desert or something, you should do something about your cooling. If it's load temperatures, that's ok.

- Your power supply. I can give you a 95% guarantee that that's your problem. It's a very cheap power supply. Even though it's rated 600W, it's probably a lot lower than that. It overheats when it can't handle the load, less current goes to your PC, and it shuts down.

Did you installed the RAM correctly?there should be instructions in the booklet that came with the motherboard your computer might not like running with only one module of RAM more work load for CPU (high temps) Did you get any BSOD messages. Get another stick of RAM and make sure you'll get the same like the one you have and install them in pairs

This just means, that it´s sold seperately and not in a kit of two. Nothing to worry about.

is an 8Pin ATX12V power connector plugged into the motherboard or just a 4pin ?

did you plug the 6Pin PCIe Power connector into the 750TI? This model needs one.

run furmark stresstest (not benchmark) for at least 10minutes
run prime95 + core temp for at least 10minutes
how high are the temperatures?

run 3dmark basic edition (firestrike) and post the link which comes up at the end

update the motherboard´s bios (directly in Bios, not in windows!)

eventually the voltage regulator modules of the motherboard are overheating and shutdown the system

try another power supply, search for psu tier list in this forum and choose from tier 1, 2 or 3

I didn't say anything about changing the PSU, the only issue I found is your RAM
Your motherboard has dual channel architecture, your module is for single channel

Your module of memory specs http://postimg.org/image/474k9k70p/

@helpstar well its an 4 pin connected and the model is ATX P4 power supply (20+4pin) and i plugged the 6pin PCIe to the graphics card..
will run funmark stresstest

@k6 II my frnd has the same ram which i am having will try it and see whether it solves and do u think tat its really an RAM issue..??

Used that board in half a dozen builds - while its a fairly solid little number its only a 4 phase & I've honestly never considered putting an 8 core on it.
The most I've used is a 6300 (albeit fairly heavily overclocked) but it's reported working fine with the 8350.

The one certain thing I can tell you though is that while its entirely capable of running ram at 1600mhz it will default to 1333mhz with some of the wierdest timings I've ever seen.
This is entirely capable of causing all sorts of weird issues.

Do us a favour ,download & run cpu-z.

Post a screen grab of the memory tab & also the SPD tab (you may have to change the slot dropdown box so the jedec table populates)

Make sure the power cable is connected to the 750 Ti.
Make sure the memory is tightly placed and not loose.
That CPU temperature is kinda high, but the most it would do its throttle, not shutdown.

A likely problem is the power supply, while being high wattage, does not supply the CPU and the rest of the system well enough (amperage maybe). A quality PSU by Corsair or Seasonic with 450w would be a better choice than that one.

Still, the temperature is very high, remove the cooler, reapply thermal paste in a thin layer spread evenly and tighten the cooler with sufficient pressure as to make as much contact as possible.

your ram is running at 1333mhz wehich is 100% what I expected - however it has picked the correct timings so while the ram isnt running full speed it shouldnt be causing any instability.

Your psu - mmmm - its pretty crap quality mate - however from what I can find it has a 12v rail of 33a ( its really a mislabelled 430w max) which is theoretically plenty for your setup & should have 100w or so headroom.

questions..

1. Did you have a different graphics card in there previous to installing the 750ti?? If so what card was it?
2.Is this an entirely new build?? if not was it running ok before you installed the 750 ti??
3.Is it a prebuild/prebought fully built pc??
4. Im assuming youre using the standard amd stock cooler not an aftermarket one? Either way is the fan on the cpu cooler spinning constantly, does it spoeed up significantly under any kind of load (if its the amd one you will hear it clearly)
5. What is your case model? What is your fan configuration,Ill assume it has a rear exhaust fan, does it have any front intake fans for airflow.

also download amd overdrive, install & run it

http://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/technologies-gaming/over-drive

open the cpu status tab, while idling on the desktop do a screen grab of it & post here

The FX 8350 can't work stable with just 4pins in the 8 pin ATX12V header of the motherboard
Replace your Psu
Search for psu tier list in this forum and choose one of tier 1,2 or 3. At least 450W bronze certified.

Read the manual which DIMM slot is recommended for the Ram if just one stick is installed.

thanxx mates fr fast response and nw i formatted the c drive nw the temperatures are stable and i had run the furmark test about 15mins there is no issue nw bt before formatting the c drive i had tested with furmark within 10 sec the pc got shutdown bt nt nw and i am attaching the link of the temperatures when the pc is on idle ....

http://imageshack.com/a/img538/7534/qJEADR.jpg

bt the problem is tat wen i again opened the battlefield 3 game from origin i played for 15-20 mins den again it shut-down bt wen i have seen the temperatures all are at normal like around cpu 58 C and wen before i formatted the game runs around max 5 mins den it shut-downs at tat tym the temperatures wer very high which i attached the snapshot of the temperatures before ....

shld i run any other stress test to knw the issue..???

you didint answer anything I asked above mate - but yes run a prime95 blend test with amd overdrive cpu status running & watch the clocks & temps (or post a screen grab while its running)

speedfan monitoring on that board is next to useless, use amd overdrive & hwmonitor
