[SOLVED] AMD FX Processors

So I am currently using AMD FX 4300. I was planning to upgrade to either FX 6300, 8300, 8320 or even 8350. These are the chips that my motherboard supports. They are really cheap in my country and I only use my PC for gaming. Is it worth it upgrading to a better FX?

Yes, if you got a solid cooler like Hyper 212 or above and if it is dirt cheap.
Fx 8350 for 50 bucks would be my cutoff. I am no expert for this chips, but I guess that price is reasonable.
Depends on the mainboard (many will not support even 125 watt TDP CPUsdespite claiming to), your cooling solution, and the actual CPU cost vs. what you consider cost effective...

The FX8350 was a popular budget choice several years ago, but, with R5-2600 being occasionally as low as $110, the latter is much preferable when possible.

Most are leaping to B450/R5-1600AF/R5-2600/R5-3600 solutions, where the 12 threads should sustain minimum FPS in all current/upcoming for at least a few years...
