ENERO 64 Eh ?? Strange name for the Hammer. I think AMD should have stuck with the code name as it sounds cool.

I wonder what "Genspan" is supposed to mean ? (probably 32 to 64bit just in marketing talk).
Glad to see AMD are playing the same marketing shenanigens as Intel !

WTF does ENERO stand for. Well it doesnt sound really neat like Itatium, Pentium, Athlon, K6-x, or even G4. Sounds really odd. Well i hope that is a rumor.

Nice Nvidia and ATi users get a Cookie.... Yummy

And what if that's just theh name of one of the technologies to be used in teh K8. Personally, I think AMD should call their processors by teh code name, I mean when someone asks me what's my processor, I say Advanced Micro Device K-7 version C: :). Makes em think I have a supercomputer. hehe. I was also thinking about teh K9- probably 3 years away, they'll probably call it Canine.

Thankx for clarifying what that means. january? Na, they won't name that processor that- it'd be like naming a car "The Sheep" rather Jaguar. Hehehe.

AMD has always used wierd names: Athlon, K6-X, Hammer...

Enero doesn't sound that out of place then.

 Have you ever tried cooking an egg on your HSF? Tasty.
