Im starting a new build that is going to be for basic gaming and streaming. I already know that if I want more FPS generally I can look in INTEL's corner with some small exceptions. but AMD seems to run a lot cooler and I'm not sure if the extra cores and processing power will help run my stream a little bit better.

I'm going to link 2 identical builds as well as a comparison video and I would love some opinions on both! The price difference doesn't matter and if I only lose a dozen at most fps or something on AMD I can live with it but what do you guys think?

I would swap both 2.5” with faster NVMe M2s in any of the builds.
Otherwise, Intel is more recent but warmer and longer wait on parts. You can’t go wrong with it.

AMD is hotter than INTEL. The i9 and the 10th gen are the chips that are running warm. Overall AMD has always been the warmer CPU.

If you want to game and stream, I would go with AMD. You want the core and thread power. Generally speaking for what you are looking for AMD is the good price. Intel would be good as well but you will have to pay more.

In the comparison video i posted the and chip is around 20 degrees cooler in almost all games. and I've heard from Jayztwocents and Linus that the ryzen 7 series is running super cool now.
