AMD or Nividia VGA?

Hello,
I'm planning on building a new PC, I'm very new to this, started reading article just weeks ago.

The build I have come up with is:
Core i3-8100, Gigabyte H310, G skill DDR4-8Gb (Will upgrade another one), 1Tb Seagate HDD, 120Gb samsung ssd, Corsair VS550.

They would cost me say $378, my original budget was $500 VGA include (Gosh! who knows building PC is really cost a lot)

By sketching out just a little bit I'll be able to have the Gigabyte RX560 4Gb for $133
But after doing some research I found out a bout the RX570 which cost $194
and some more option down the road like:

RX580 (227.4), GTX1050 (141.6), GTX1050ti (186), GTX1060-3gb (231) and 1060-6gb (303)

I'm willing to save up to 1060-6gb.

But since I'm only using a 19.5" screan (res.1600x900) for most of the time and won't upgrade for a new one soon.

So what card is the good fit for my build?
Is there any suggestion on the build? I'm open about AMD build, but haven't do enough research on the build.
Should I wait til next year when the new VGA come out?
The noob me really confuse right now.... please help!

Oh and most of the time I'll be playing game, pts and some other light works.

First don't buy the Corsair VS series PSU, they are junk. If you need a budget one then the Corsair CX550 (grey and black text not green) or the CX550M are better.

Also on Newegg and a few other places the RX580s are right around 200 USDs, and that would get you a GTX1060 equivalent card. Use pcpartspicker.com to source the best prices for your build.

Also for your SSD right now Samsung 860 Evo SSDs are on sale, you can get a 500GB for 79 USD.

Sorry for answer so late.
The sale on Newegg looks like a good deal, sadlyy It's not available in my country. But black friday's coming up and local dealer has some discount on both the RX580 and the GTX1060 6Gb which gonna cost around $140-150 (original price was $10-20 different between the twos ). I already have the VS550 right now, they were on sale *guilty guilty me*
Can I ask what is your preference between the GTX1060 6Gb (MSI) and the RX580 (Gigabyte) ? I'm leaning toward the GTX for power consumption but the extra Vram on the RX is really sexy!!
Thanks for reply!!!!

Hi, sorry for the late reply,
Thanks for the suggest, may I ask if Ryzen do a good job playing games? Because I've heard some people here where I live prefer i3 or i5 more for gaming.
Sorry, I'm really new to this.
Cheers!

i3 8100 would have a slight single core advantage over the Ryzen 1400 but the Ryzen has multi threaded cores 4/8 where i3 has just 4 cores. They perform about the same really but Ryzen would last longer.

Either side has different class cpus and higher up you go so does performance and cost. An i5 8400 is comparable to Ryzen 1600. Both additions are out of your <500$ range.

Ryzen, or specifically the R5 1400 would bring better value for your budget.

Thanks again! I'll keep an eye out for the R5 1400.
