i have to ask before i attempt this (all ive done is raise my multiplier to 18x with 1.32 voltage), but your cpu is a phenom II x4 955 regular or BE? apologies if an ignorant question, do not know if they made a non-BE version of this chip (mine is a BE).

only 1h 25min but I have this setup stable for couple of weeks and do some other stress test ex. OCCT

Any way I not try more because:
First I do not want test my Luck more :)
Second My ram finally reach 1866Mhz * Max Supported by this CPU
Cpu Mark results 5719pkt http://postimg.org/image/gvm9zp35p/
Previously I worked at 4.32Ghz but 1800Mhz on my ram annoying me to much :)

Did someone overclocked phenom ii x4 960t on hwinfo64 say zosma on cpuid say thuban think its the same zosma and thuban i tryed to unlock but nothing i didnt put voltage or overclocked soo i have new cooler hyper evo 212 but i didnt installed im waitting for new psu because im using the old one its old about 7 years 500w

You may not be able to unlock your phenom. A zosma is basically a thuban with 2 cores disabled. The athlon x4 640 with part number ending in GR is also a zosma, accept it also has the l3 cache disabled.

You can try unlocking just one core. You may have to raise the voltage to make it stable as well. You can go as high as 1.5V. I would step it up slowly and see if that works. If it doesn't then you may have 2 bad cores hence why they are disabled.

Yeah i didnt tryed to to put voltage i booted up but didnt show 6 cores on cpuid shows x6 1605t but they are only 4 cores showed on my computer show unknown procesor hmm im gonna wait for a new psu i buyed hyper evo but i im gonna wait for psu to put everything into new case

How did you check for the exta cores? typically your computer wont boot if the unlock failed. Go to task manager and check for how many threads it has there. It sounds to me like it worked. CPUZ shouldn't have shown you with a 1605t x6 if it didn't work.

You can also boot up prime95 to check and see how many threads it opens with a stress test.

Yeah i checked on task manager but ony 4 cores i checked on cpuid 4 cores im confused ;( im gona wait for new psu and buy more cooler to fill up all the case with coolers too make sure the mobo is cool and vrm too to dont have any problems btw its 4 pin power on mobo everyone said its gonna be a problem to overclock but i didnt had money for 990fx ;( it was bad but im gonna try overclock how much is possible and try to unlock im gonna wait to buy a new psu

I think that motherboard gets a bad rep. It obviously won't overclock like a good 990fx board will, but I was able to get decent overclocks on multiple CPU's using that same motherboard. Just don't expect them to be as high as you would get on a better board.

For example, I got my fx 4130 to 4.6ghz stable.

You can also get heat sinks for the VRM which really helps with that motherboard as well (from what I've heard).

I had the same results and a slightly unstable clock of 4.2GHz that had me top of the list here a couple of years ago. I did the same thing and sold my 965 with the asus 890gx mobo for 140 bucks on craigslist and bought an 8320 and a asus 990x evo r2.0 board. Good luck.

I was able to go to and over the 4.2 mark "Stable" but had to run the north bridge speed down near 1000MHz to do it, which as we as Over Clockers know, just kills the performance. I was and still am playing with the settings getting better it all the time with the following settings at the moment.

Cpu: 965
Name: Bgunner
Stepping: C3
Frequency: 4074
ref*multi: 232.8*17.5
CPU voltage: 1.38 idle and 1.392 under full load
CPU-NB: 1.35
NB frequency: 2560
NB volts: 1.250
RAM: 8GB @ 1862 Mhz 9-10-9-28-37-T1 / G.Skill Ares 1866 1.575V
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Cooling: Air cooling/Hyper 212 Evo w/ Artic Silver 5
OS: 7 64-bit

Summery: lost 3 MHz for CPU, lost 78 MHz on the north bridge with a boost to the voltage 0.125 volts, but gained 262 MHz in ram speed and dropped CPU voltage .036 volts with the side effect of a cooler full load temp to the tune of 10°C. this was done by dropping the LLC down from extreme one level to High I think they call it. <-- ever evolving.

yeah but i think my mobo has heatsinks http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4591#ov this is the mobo ;/

what is the safe OC for fx6300??
i have this motherboard M5A97 LE R2.0
and a 2x4gb 1600mhz kingston hyper X black
and a vs650w corsair???

hejj guys i wanna buy a graphic card but im worry little bit there is used r9 280x and new r9 270x but the prices are the same soo r9 270x has warranty but the 280x doesnt soo what to doo

can i follow this for my fx6300???sir

Chucki, I wouldn't recommend those settings for a fx 6300. The fx 6300 wouldn't require near that voltage to do 4.4Ghz it is a completely different chip. If you would like to start overclocking your chip might I suggest you read some guides first.

Hej Guyz im on 3.9 phenom ii x4 960t 😀 Core Speed 3.935.78 Multiplier 16.0 Bus Speed 245.99 HT Link 1721.90 Vcore 1.296 i dont know but thes said 1.45 should be restrict for this procesor im gonna test on for 2h on prime ;D

i have little problem on prime i clicked something and wannish the the monitoring on prime but my cpu usage runns 100% allmost 4h ?good badd look at screenshoots that i posted 😀
