Hi all. Messed around a bit with OC'ing on my former craptastic mobo.
Had poor and unstable results. Now with a new Gen 3 Sabertooth 990FX, things are much better.
Can get as high as 4.2 stable, but the temps get very high, very fast.
This is purely from setting the UEFI bios to "performance", with the ram clocked up beyond what the chip supports.
Mushkin Redline 1866, for when the 8350 shows up in the near future.
And 2 hours of Prime95 never saw cpu temps above 61 C. Runs low 50s gaming.
