AMD Processor vs. XBox360 or PS3

I do have a job i work at my dads bakery and where do you work?do you lift heavy boxes.do you have to go in the middle of the night to the bowery to pick up machines for the bakery. have you slept once for only 3 hours cause the boiler exploded and your the only one who knows how to fix it because all the mechanics are on vacation? well have ever gone to cherry hill new jersey to pick up a car and come home at 2am cause the dealer lost the keys well have you? This is all s**t i've done in the past week! on a regular day I do atleast 50 different things to help keep the bakery runnin! :evil:
 
I've been reading comments on this site for a short while now. It seems to me most believe AMD is the king of gaming CPUs. However, some believe in the end Intel provides brute force strength in most other areas.

But anyways, I thought if I was going to game why not just buy a console, like the XBox 360 or PS3. I'm really leaning towards the PS3 since this may be the Messiah (the cell processor) we've all been waiting for.

The problem which consoles is that all games are too simple and to easy. There is no thinking in console games since they are made to suite "average Joe".

Having a consule I know gives up tasks like web browsing, email, transcoding and other stuff. But with 95% of the posts here on THG are about problems with their systems its kind of depressing to keep reading.

Over 95% of computer problems are user related.

So, I had an epiphany. Buy a basic AMD processor, low feature motherboard, some cheap ram, a dvd-burner, a hard drive and whatever else it takes to complete the system and buy the PS3 for gaming. This way I would avoid the hassles of breaking my pc but could game while its being repaired.

I truly believe this is my best senario. Would someone please support my decision?

I wouldn't trade my PC for a console. I can admit I have a xbox but I only use it as a HTPC to watch movies. If you can't handle a Computer it's your own problem. I have no trouble what so ever with computers...
 
i actually work at hewlett packard. and i dont need to hear ur life story, everyone has there own problems no need to cry to me about it. a deer ran into my brand new car (that im paying for, monthly) and i had to pay 1700 bux to fix it. how is that my fault? im driving along and a deer runs into the side of my car, no way to avoid is since the road is tiny (i live in a rural area) and wow, ur job sounds so hard, u lift boxes. think about the kids that have worked since they were 13 (at REAL jobs, not working for daddy) to help there parents pay for the food to put on the table, ur life is nothing compared to them, but once again, this thread is about consoles vs computers. i dont want to hear about ur day, ever.

LOL. no the deer had a seizure and died before the cops came... kinda glad though... because i didnt want to get blood on my hands :wink:
 
ok parlee i have been working since ten beating eggs cleaning the dishes and taking cheese cakes out of a 450 oven with cheap plastic gloves so yeah i work hard!(MY HANDS WERE BADLY BURNED!)
 
god u bitch more than a wife in a couple thats been married for 40 years. get over it, ur not poor, u obviously have plenty of free time to make 1800 posts in 2 months, i doubt u even have a job. ur a joke and an awful lier
 
dude what do you do all day huh? sit in the back room and post? i am at hom right now ok man the bakery is closed today and tommorrow for repairs 3rd time this month!
 
what about the rest of the 2 months? can a bakery even break? like i said, i have a given amount of work to do in a day, and if i finish early i just sit and wait till 7 so i can leave. so im sitting in my office posting, laughing at the stuff u come up with. do u believe ur own lies or do u just expect every1 else to?
 
you dont beleive fine then dont the bakery is closed for repairs means that the sewage line broke so only ppl are there are the plumbers before the gas main broke and before that the electricity went out! my head is killing me now arguin with you its march right i joined february so ive been here almost a month god you piss me off so much i am gonna curse at you now parlee

back to the topic, i had an idea... take 2-3kish (pretty much the cost of a ps3 and a decent computer) and buy a nice 20 .1 inch dell monitor get an amd dual core, 2 gigs or memory, a nice logitech controller, an x1900xt (duno the exact price, but thats probably climbing close to 2k quickly)... get a wireless logitech too so u can play from ur couch, with that big 20 inch monitor ull be able to sit back a few feet and enjoy the couch :)
 
well i would like ur opinion mike (since u are the ruler of the free world :lol: ) what do u think of dvd. do u think that his bakery story is true? do u think he has valid points (if u read the "AMD says "who needs dell" thread) because im sure that im not alone here when i said this kid has taken 1 too many extacy pills

first and formost, id like to appologize mike, sorry.

2nd dvd, the pic doesnt work, and a 1 paragraph of nothing doesnt prove anything, i dont even care if u work at a bakery, i didnt even read the paragraph. i dont care at all. just stop posting because for now on im not gonna even read them anymore
 
i read in i think IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) magazine Spectrum tha tthe PS3 has 9 cell processors

i dunno if someone already posted this but yeah too lazy to comb thru 4 pages of post so if its a repost dont go all ballistic and be like " F**KIN DUMBA** WE ALREAY POSTED THAT, WH()R3, A$$@#$%^&, F@G**T

Back to the real topic though. It is interesting this time around because it seems like Sony may have done this one right with the Blu-ray and what not. The PS2 had some serious disadvantages to the end user in terms of included parts shall we say. The XBox was a much better deal in terms of versatility.
