Amd64 Nforce3

I recently bought a amd64 bit processor and the nforce3 mobo chipset, and i been seeing places that your supposed to only have 512 ram max, im also experiencing heating problems , i believe, im running at 57c. My processor isnt running as fast as it should be. I have a gig of ddr400 in there right now. Comments?

Which motherboard? What case and what kind of cooling. There should be no issues with 1gb of ram on the NF3-250 chipset boards, however, what kind of ram?

About the heating problem, it turns out some motherboards report the temperature incorrectly. MSI, Abit (bios update avalilable), etc.
