You will be able to connect the soundbar to your PC using a Toslink cable which uses this port on your motherboard:

The soundbar has the same one.

The onboard bluetooth on the Motherboard is weak
Dude, just get a better quality bluetooth receiver and plug it in the usb on the pc. You do not have to be a slave to the onboard bluetooth! They're pretty damn cheap too.

But first, check you're firmware/drivers etc are all up to date for both the Bluetooth and the onboard Wifi as for some reason they can sometimes update together when built in like this (as I've found).

Also, I dunno - do they have an antenna for onboard bluetooth, or is there anything you can do to improve it, or the directionality? Does the provided Wifi Antenna do the Bluetooth also?

Also ask the others about what can interfere with Bluetooth.... eg microwaves in the house, maybe wifi from you or your neighbours' (not sure)?

Hello all, so i just got the Bose Ultra Soundbar and connected it to my PC Desktop with the optical cable option. But I dont see the Soundbar as an audio Output option on my PC Desktop. What are my next steps to get audio from this Soundbar from my PC?
