whether a DFI Blood-Iron P35 T2RL mobo will support the latest Penryn/Wolfdale chips?

I think not. My guess would be you need a X38 or 48, any fans wanna help here?

I'm pretty sure the P35 is compatible, you'll just need to do a BIOS update. Then again, i'm not really an expert on the p35 chipset.

If the 38 supports it, I would think the 35 would also. The big difference between the 35 and the 38 is the number of PCIe lanes going to the PCIe 16x slots. I haven't heard about other differences. (I should add I'm an old AMD nut slowly coming around to Intel, so I'm not 100% up to speed yet on Intel motherboards.)
